Four 6 hour days and rotating saturday mornings;

Mercy Fitzgerald, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Mammography Technologist to join our Radiology Team!

Pool/Per Diem. Assistance w/ vacation requests, other various schedule needs including weekends and holidays. Per department needs

Summary:

The technologist is responsible for performing all mammographic procedures. The technologist assists the radiologist with interventional procedures including biopsy, cyst aspiration and needle localization procedures. The technologist must show independent judgment when performing procedures and when addressing difficult or unusual situations. The technologist is responsible for evaluating images for technical quality and strict adherence to ACR and MQSA guidelines and regulations.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Performs all mammographic procedures

  • Utilizes hospital EMR and Radiology PACS with accuracy

  • Assesses patients to determine ability to undergo ordered procedure

  • Accept additional assignments and tasks

Requirements:

  • HS graduate. Successful graduate from an AMA approved Radiology program

  • ARRT with Mammography Certification

  • BCLS

  • screening and diagnostic mammograms with dexascan experience preferred
