JPMorgan Chase Senior Associate - Robotics & Innovations/Ops Technology in Wilmington, Delaware

In Robotics & Innovations Operations & Ops Technology, we own product financials (technology investments and product revenue/benefits) and act as trusted Finance business advisors to Product Owners and Technology partners. In addition, we manage all Technology business management and expense approvals for Chief Technology Officer for Operations Technology.

As a Senior Associate in Robotics & Innovations Operations & Ops Technology, you will work closely with Consumer & Community Banking Operations executives, Product Owners, Business Analysis & Capacity Planning, Finance and Analytics partners to develop meaningful business insights through analysis and financial modeling, identify opportunities for delivering business value and improving customer experience, create budgets/forecasts, monthly actuals reporting and senior executive presentations. You will also oversee the daily, weekly and monthly management of all Technology expenses approvals, and to be successful the candidate will interact with Operations Technology leadership team, Tech Chief Financial Officer colleagues and peers. You will perform financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, actuals reporting, business analysis, financial modeling, and reporting of product profit & loss. In this role you will leverage Excel and PowerPoint in conjunction with other JPMorgan financial tools to create meaningful reports and analysis.

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product teams to identify, quantify and model financial value for product features on product roadmap and backlog

  • Develop and manage product profit & loss - technology investments & budget for the Technology organization, product benefits and budget for Product team

  • Communicate product benefits to all key stakeholders - Operations Head of Product, Operations Chief Financial Officer, Business Planning & Analysis (BP&A) team, Operations leaders and broader Operations Finance and Technology organizations

  • Prepare expense tracking for key initiatives

  • Review, analyze and present monthly financial results for the product

  • Manage end-to-end the full lifecycle of Technology expense approvals, review them with senior leadership in Technology and Finance

  • Ensure all Technology expense requests adhere to firm standards, policies and procedures and are accounted for in the Operations Technology budget

  • Support development of dashboards for product financial performance, product staffing and Executive Management Reporting

  • Support ad hoc requests from the Business, Senior Management, and Consumer Community Banking Planning & Analysis (P&A)

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of related work experience, preferably in Financial Services or Operations

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly is critical

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to think strategically and also execute

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a subject of a technical or business nature

  • Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner to the Business

  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Tableau experience a plus

Candidates must be able to physically work in our Wilmington, DE office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.
