Atlantic Diving Supply, Inc. Deputy Medical Manager in Virginia Beach, Virginia

We are seeking a driven, high performing candidate with strong medical sales experience. Ideal candidate will be well established in the appropriate Medical military/governmental community and have contacts or experience to draw from for immediate success. Candidate should have proven experience meeting and exceeding sales goals, experience in dealing with high-level executives, strong interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrated team building, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements concurrently.

RESPONSIBILITIES

+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Planning and Management | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Establishment of strategic vision for Market | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Management of direct sales efforts to program customers | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Oversight of indirect sales efforts, leveraging the Medical market | | across all ADS sales channels | | | | Identification of new contracts and maximization of existing | | contracts | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Strategic Planning | | | | Create and execute sales plan that brings value and measurable | | revenue to ADS | | | | Develop long term plan for Medical Market Growth leveraging large | | medical capability gaps and projects that will make an impact in the | | next 3-5 years | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Administrative Tasks | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Has knowledge of medical acquisition process / supply chain [DLA | | Medical / DAPA / ECAT] | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Forecast near and long-term goals using available analytics | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+

  • 10+ years of Medical industry/government/military sales experience with strong drive toward attainment of goals and proven track record of quota achievement
  • Familiar with Defense Health Headquarters/Defense Health Agency
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Prior Medical military or government experience required
  • Minimum 50% travel

Other Desired Qualifications

  • P/L experience must have a strong business background to complement military experience
  • Thorough knowledge of various medical purchasing vehicles (DLA Medical/DAPA/ECAT, etc.) and the ability to define and implement a strategy for contract development and closure
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to deliver a persuasive business message to end user prospects
  • Strong consultative selling skills - understands customer needs and positions company products accordingly
