This program includes but is not limited to health insurance, flexible spending accounts, dental insurance, vision insurance, long term disability, retirement plans, life insurance, EAP, ACA, supplemental benefits, leave plans.Lead and develop a benefit team to assure that high quality customer service is provided to system office, college HR departments, all KCTCS employees and retirees.On-going review of the benefit package to ensure competitiveness.Track and analyze current and developing benefit laws and regulations to determine impact on the organization and develop system wide responses for compliance.Periodically audit benefits and work closely with the KCTCS CFO to align with budget objectives.Build consultative and collaborative relationships with vendors, brokers, college and System Office personnel.Plan and implement applicable training related to benefits.Regularly survey employees to gauge satisfaction with benefit package.Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and five (5) years of relevant experience or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications:Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and eight (8) years of relevant experience or equivalent.Human Resources Benefit CertificationPHR/SPHRSHRM-CP/SHRM-SCPAdditional Skills Requested:High competency in Excel.Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.Proficiency working in HRIS Systems (PeopleSoft preferred).Experience working with external vendors, brokers and consultants.High attention to detail and accuracy.Strong customer service skills.
