Job Description SummaryAAM is looking for a Program Management Lead to join the team at our Three Rivers, MI manufacturing facility!

The Program Manager will take ownership of Identifying, planning, and implementing significant structured change initiatives for the facility. This position records all product changes, and launches new programs; facilitating streamlined coordination with the customer for changes and launches.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in team building and leadership, and have a high level of analytical problem solving capabilities. This role is truly embedded within the Three Rivers facility, and will involve communication with both peers and leadership, so strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with others is essential. A working knowledge of manufacturing/assembly processes, business-related computer systems, and quality assurance is also preferred.

Job Description Responsible for planning functions and facilitating timely and organized launch of plant projects and programs Lead plant implementation of significant structured engineering change initiatives (ex. sales releases) Chair regular cross-functional team meetings Communicate program and project requirements Track progress to program and project milestones Report progress and resolve obstacles to implementation Assist with administration of lead plant cost requests, UCRS, MPPS, and lead-time development Monitor and promote progress of appropriations in support of projects Assure timely and qualified costs and spend to appropriated projects Coordinate lead requirements of equipment, materials, labor, and methods to ensure timely project and program completion. Lead cost request and appropriation processes for funding of approved capital projects. Maintain consistent communication with others outside work group. Adhere to Corporate policies and procedures including safety rules and regulations as the need arises by local, state, and federal governments and maintain safety and good housekeeping standards. Comply with the terms of local and national labor agreements. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working with manufacturing processes in a program/project management capacity preferred. Availability to work flexible work schedule across shifts as needed, and overtime and weekends when required.
