Job Title

Production Prep Set-up

Responsibilities:

• Prepare necessary tooling and supplies necessary to set up and complete scheduled sales orders.

• Mount print plates.

• Mix ink for upcoming orders.

• Prepare dies and associated tooling and stage at press.

• Receive and deliver production documentation as needed.

• Upon completion of job, return dies and associated tooling to their assigned location.

• Assure that all tooling being returned to their assigned identified location is clean and in good

• Tooling in need of repair will be tagged and brought to the correct location to be repaired or sent

out for retooling.

• All tooling repairs will be brought to the shift supervisor’s attention.

• Log tooling into designated database.

• Perform incoming inspection on new and returning tooling.

• All unused ink will be brought back to the storage area to be checked back into inventory system.

• The ink storage will be kept clean and organized at all times.

• Ability to work collaboratively with peers and team members.

• Ability to be organized and prioritize.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Candidate must be willing to learn, be able to read and follow written and or verbal instructions.

• All applicants must understand basic verbal instructions

• Flexographic printing experience a plus but not a necessity.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED

• Six months minimum manufacturing experience required

Work Conditions:

• Manufacturing environment

• Extended or irregular work hours

• Personnel Protective Equipment as required

• Work overtime with little or no advance notice.
