Navistar, Inc. Process Planner in Springfield, Ohio
Position Overview
Navistar is currently seeking Process Planners.
Process Planners in the Planning Department are the liaison between Manufacturing and Engineering and are key to vehicle build accuracy and smooth process flow. Process Planners handle a range of production documentation including shop floor paper (part content for each operation), build instructions and electronic error-proofing. They are the most knowledgeable when it comes to build process and are key to addressing build process issues, quality concerns related to build process and part usage questions. They also handle pilot builds for new models, options, and features. It is an exciting job with direct hands-on responsibility in the successful build of our commercial trucks.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Will have occasional mandatory overtime
Starting Pay: $19.61 Per Hour
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Handle production documentation
Build instructions and electronic error-proofing
Build process
Address any build process issues, quality concerns, and part usage questions
Handle pilot builds for new models, options, and features
Minimum Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in an Engineering related field
OR
- At least 3 years manufacturing experience
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
