This position supports the Army Prepositioned Stocks – 4 Program located in Camp Carroll, Korea. The Small Arms QC Inspector will comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations, local safety policies, and KBR’s Zero Harm program.

Job Summary

Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the Foreman or General Foreman. Reads and interprets instructions and procedures. Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site. May move materials manually or using hand truck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow, conveyor, or hand-operated crane or hoist. Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties and activities as directed. Typically requires 2-5 years of related experience.

Roles and Responsibilities

Inventory Management- Performs inventory management of decentralized and decontrolled items, including supplies, and equipment. Items managed are of low unit or annual demand value, involve short procurement lead time, are obtained from standard or other readily available sources of supply, and reflect relatively stable patterns of demand. Determines, forecasts, distributes material. Obtains procurement authorization.

Material Coordination- Performs material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops. Duties are performed on the basis of practical experience in processing and expediting supply transactions related to the particular organizations serviced.

Cataloging- Writes item descriptions for a range of new items entering the supply channels. Applies requirements selecting the appropriate description pattern. Reviews existing stock catalogs, manufacturers’ catalogs, drawings, or other resource materials, for the purpose of matching characteristics to identify duplicate items already catalogued.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Must either possess or be able to obtain an Active Secret Security Clearance issued by the U.S. Government and maintain it for the duration of your employment on this contract.

  • Must have a favorable adjudication of an NACI background check.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a base access.

  • Must have a valid U.S. Passport.

  • Must have a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License.

  • Requires the ability to provide documentation to qualify as US EXPAT Invited Contractor Status and SOFA Visa IAW USFK 700-19 Regulation.

  • High School/GED plus three years directly related work experience.

  • Completion of the basic warehousing course, equivalent from a military service-related Advanced Individual Training or certification from a vocational school with a focus in Material Accounting/Inventory Methods preferred.

  • In lieu of formal course work, a combination of college credits, on-the-job training, other formalized training, or experience may be considered.

  • Ability to work from technical manuals, work instructions and work orders.

  • Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.

  • Must be able to work in a non‐temperature controlled environment, heat and humidity.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds to waist level and 35 pounds to shoulder height.

  • Required to pass initial and periodic drug screening.
