Description

Robert Half is looking for experience Inventory Manager in the Hayward area.

As the Inventory Manager, you will spearhead the management of our multi-million-dollar parts and attachment inventory, utilizing your expertise in forecasting, budgeting, and planning. Your main responsibility will be to ensure optimal inventory levels through meticulous analysis, adjustment in our control system, and strategic planning. You will collaborate cross-functionally to rectify discrepancies, enhance product data accuracy, and provide insightful recommendations to optimize operations across the facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically analyze inventory statistics to discern product performance, facilitating informed decisions on stocking levels and product movement.

  • Establish and maintain inventory locations within the NetSuite system, ensuring seamless tracking and management.

  • Implement and oversee physical inventory programs, including analyzing and processing inventory obsolescence.

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of inventory levels across categories and proactively manage future aging inventory in the warehouse.

  • Utilize NetSuite inventory tools for efficient demand planning and optimization of stock levels.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address specific problem areas, developing effective solutions.

  • Compile, verify, and report periodic statistical information to management, highlighting trends and insights.

  • Generate, analyze, and distribute daily inventory and monthly reports, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance forecasting accuracy.

  • Coordinate logistics of orders from suppliers and to warehouse customers, ensuring timely and efficient operations.

  • Assist in project development and provide recommendations to enhance inventory management processes.

  • Ensure compliance with inventory processes, procedures, and contractual obligations.

  • Document inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and propose countermeasures for improvement.

  • Cultivate positive business relationships with key stakeholders and provide regular updates to upper management on stock levels and pertinent issues.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualification:

  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong mathematical aptitude, and adept multitasking abilities.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

  • Proficient in prioritizing workflow with minimal supervision and communicating effectively and respectfully.

  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of inventory control experience or related field.

  • Prior experience with NetSuite or similar inventory management software.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) for reporting and data analysis.

  • Previous experience in inventory and accounting roles.
