Job Details Responsibilities of the Environmental Service Aide / Floor Care Tech include: Performs cleaning and floor maintenance functions using approved cleaning solutions and procedures Clean, dust, mop, strip, wax floors, and carpet care throughout hospital Clean exam rooms, offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas Move furniture before cleaning. Prepare floor area by sweeping and/or mopping as necessary. Return all furniture and equipment after floor has dried. Correctly measure chemicals for use Correctly label chemicals for storage Clean, maintain, and store equipment and PPE in a safe manner Maintain inventory of floor areas. Schedule cleaning and maintenance duties. Trash removal as necessary Assist with hazardous waste collection as directed Demonstrate knowledge of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment, and tools. Responsible for maintaining a safe/sanitary working conditions Responds rapidly to emergencies as directed Responsible for reporting broken and unsafe equipment and maintenance issues to supervisor Periodically clean cubical/window curtains and ice dispenser Must be able to lift 50LBS Responsible for cleaning the grounds of the hospital. Performs other duties as required Requirements for the Environmental Service Aide role include: High School Diploma, GED or relevant experience is required Knowledge of floor care preferred Salary Range USD $24.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
