Description

A busy company in the Rockaway area is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team. This Full Charge Bookkeeper will get the chance to join a growing company that loves to promote within and provide career advancement. The ideal Full Charge Bookkeeper will have experience with Great Plains (not required) and have experience working in multiple facets of accounting and human resources. Other responsibilities of this Full Charge Bookkeeper will include but not be limited to:

• Managing all aspects of Accounts Receivable

• Entering invoices and issuing checks

• Conducting monthly Bank Reconciliations

• Processing weekly payroll (10-20 employees)

• Managing General Ledger and Journal Entries

• Processing expense reports

• Calculating/paying quarterly sales tax

This Full Charge Bookkeeper position pays between $70,000 and $80,000 annually depending on experience. If interested in this Full Charge Bookkeeper role apply today!

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or relevant field a plus

• 5+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience

• Great Plains a plus

• Strong attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Sales Tax knowledge preferred
