Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse, you will perform comprehensive nursing assessments, evaluate clients'/patients' physical conditions, monitor health status, and collaborate with the treatment team to coordinate care based on individual needs. Your expertise will be invaluable in creating action plans, providing health education, arranging medical appointments, overseeing medication administration, and managing medical emergencies with professionalism and composure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments per service line requirements

  • Evaluate clients'/patients' physical conditions and service needs

  • Complete required screenings, medical histories, and vital signs

  • Monitor health status and coordinate care with the treatment team

  • Create action plans based on physical and mental health treatment needs

  • Oversee infectious disease control, client/patient hygiene, and health-related issues

  • Provide health education, disease prevention, and risk reduction

  • Arrange medical appointments and manage medical emergencies

  • Consult with physicians/advanced practice providers and advocate for medical services

  • Arrange and monitor special dietary needs for medical conditions

  • Review medication requirements, educate clients/patients, and monitor compliance

  • Administer medications and oversee administration per service line requirements

  • Monitor lab levels, consulting with providers, clients, and clinical staff

  • Coordinate medication needs with pharmacies, clients/patients, and families

  • Monitor medication side-effects and treatment modifications

  • Assist physicians/advanced practice providers with client/patient exams and procedures

  • Complete required documentation promptly and accurately

  • Demonstrate commitment to the company's long-term and short-term goals

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice

  • Willingness to become licensed in additional states

  • Comfortable providing telehealth services (training provided)

  • FQHC: BCLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively

  • Proficient in operating computers and various software applications

  • Demonstrates good judgment and discernment in dealing with people

  • Ability to work with confidential information

  • Strong time management skills to complete paperwork and manage multiple tasks

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective communication and working relationships

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a rapidly changing environment

  • Comfortable working with individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds

  • Ability to work with individuals experiencing behavioral health crises

  • Thorough knowledge of nursing principles, theories, and practices in mental health/substance abuse services

  • Knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations relevant to the program

  • Detailed knowledge of techniques for rehabilitating physical and mental ailments

  • Aptitude to develop, coordinate, and evaluate services within assigned responsibilities

  • Ability to apply complex techniques for decision-making and problem-solving

  • Ability to read, interpret, and write documents, reports, and correspondence effectively
