Potential for on-call time and varying hours depending on need, including one hour on one weekend per month. (Rotating basis.) Requirements: • Valid Driver's license • A reliable floor care janitor who performs special floor care, including driving floor care vehicle to worksite, performing specific cleaning projects and daily floor cleaning duties in accordance with standard procedures in the contract. • Prior janitorial experience preferred but not required. • Ability to pass background check at time of hire and for duration of employment. Felonies prohibit base access. Responsibilities include: • Driving to route worksites. • Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, shampooing, stripping, waxing, burnishing, pressure washing inside and outside. • Proper use and care of floor care equipment according to training. • Complete and follow all required operations and safety trainings. Physical Requirements and Essential Functions: • Ability to endure up to 7 hours a day of standing, and walking. • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. • Must be able to reach, kneel, walk, stand and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time. • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and routines. Must be able to work well with others. • Good time management skills. Must carry out instructions and pay attention to detail. • Maintains professionalism in both appearance and demeanor.
