Rockford Center is searching for a talented and patient centric Full-time Expressive Arts Therapist! We are looking for creative arts therapists (preference for Art therapists and Music therapists) who are willing to share their talents in order to explore the many avenues to healing

Rockford Center is a 138-bed mental health facility located in Newark, DE, providing easy access to a full complement of inpatient and partial behavioral health programs for children and adolescents (https://www.rockfordcenter.com/child-4-12-and-adolescent-13-17-services/) , adults (https://www.rockfordcenter.com/adult-services-18-65/) , and older adults (https://www.rockfordcenter.com/older-adult-services-65/) . Rockford is the only child inpatient behavioral health facility in DE, offers an experienced and tenured senior management team, and serves New Castle County and northern Maryland.

• Deliver quality expressive therapy groups/sessions according to patient treatment program.

• Conduct Expressive Therapy assessments.

• Maintain the clinical and administrative documentation associated with performed services

  Qualifications

  Job Requirements:

  Education:

• Master's degree in a Creative Arts Therapy modality (Art, Music, Dance/Movement, Recreation, etc.).

• Experience: Previous experience in Behavioral Health preferred.

• Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Completion of Handle With Care training within 90 days of employment.
