Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for the Medical Oncology Simon 5 Unit at Morristown Medical Center to work 7pm to 7:30am including every other weekend.

Entry level offers start at $43.00 / hour and increase based upon experience.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served.

• Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

• Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job.

• Candidate will assist physician(s) with CATH/PCI, Peripheral, Impella, Structural Heart Cases (CoreValve, SAPIEN, MitraClip, Watchman, Valvuloplasty, PFO, ASD) and ICD cases.

• Administers post-recovery care of patients including, arterial and venous sheath removal.

• Must be able to assess for and manage arterial access site complications.

• Adheres to on-call policy requirements and responds appropriate to emergency calls per unit policy.

Required:

1. Bachelor degree in Nursing or related field.

2. 3+ years of experience in Nursing or relevant area.

3. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse and BLS certification required.

4. ACLS certification.

Preferred:

1. Masters degree in Nursing or related field.
