Continue to perform safety checks throughout the shift. * Introduction to the maintenance department and a general understanding of light maintenance throughout the facility. * Preforms light duty maintenance, examples include changing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patch and touch up paint and buffing of floors. * Responsible for the completion of all applicable paperwork as required for this position. * Assists with maintaining outside walk areas including sweeping and shoveling. * Responsible for general understanding of following all lockout/tag out safety procedures and other applicable safety procedures. * Keeping an inventory of cleaning supplies and requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. * Notify manager concerning the need for minor/major repairs or additions to building operating systems. * Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment/tools to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. * Comfortable with basic computer use. * Job may require handling of or moving of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. * Associate needs to have a general knowledge of ISO understanding.
