Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.The Impact You'll Make in this RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Harmonized Tarriff (HTS) Specialist to join our Global Trade Compliance team. As the global process owner, the candidate will oversee this critical process, maintaining a comprehensive view of the entire program to ensure consistency and control across all import HTS classifications and Schedule B Export Classifications. Your role will be to establish and manage the standards that guide our classifications, ensuring they align with global trade regulations and compliance requirements. Candidates should have a proven track record of maintaining a macro-level perspective while executing detailed classification processes.This candidate will be managing the global strategy for our HTS program while working with other global HTS members on driving improvements to this program.As a Global Harmonized Tarriff Specialist you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:Establishing global strategies, policies, procedures, and training associated with the HTS classifications.Work with the different regional trade data teams on deploying global HTS initiatives, or projects for improving our HTS classification program.Auditing our HTS portfolio globally to find inconsistencies in classifications and working with the regional teams on corrections.Managing any customs challenges on any of our HTS classifications.Manage any relations with outside firms we contract with on HTS classification related activities.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business AND Eight (8) years of experience in Supply Chain Management, or International Trade in a private, public, government, or military environment.ORHigh School Diploma/GED from AND Twelve (12) years of experience in Supply Chain Management, or International Trade in a private, public, government, or military environment.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, customs compliance.Proficiency in trade compliance software nd Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or International Trade.Work location: Remote USATravel: May include up to 10% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
