The Role
The Director of Human Resources will oversee all Human Resources duties in the Mainz and Dusseldorf offices. The Director of Human Resources will set the HR vision for these locations and translate that vision into strategies and initiatives that will contribute to the sites’ success as preferred employer. This motivated leader will support a strong leadership team that has the capabilities to meet and exceed expected performance levels through colleague engagement, experimentation and agility.

Your Profile
We are looking for a strong leader with demonstrated record of building effective teams and developing team members to succeed. A critical thinker, who is able to make decisions and use sound judgment. You should be positive, open-minded and able to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment. You need strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating Hyatt’s desired behaviors of empathy and care.
You have the ability to handle local labor legislation situations and topics. Fundamental experience in an HR leadership role of a comparable scope. You have solid knowledge of German labor legislation and employee relations.
You have an university degree in Business Administration, Hotel Operations or Human Resources Management or equivalent in experience. You have 5 - 10 years of relevant professional experience in Human Resources Management, hospitality or contact center leadership, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional leadership and performance.
