Job Purpose

Continue to promote KAITEKI values creating and maintaining a positive work environment, which is conducive to a stable, growing and continually improving workforce. Ensure a safe workplace, efficient production processes, minimization of downtime, as well as a clean and orderly production area.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Must work independently with limited supervision.

  • Must have a strong working knowledge of metrology and measurement techniques.

  • Strong working knowledge of the use of calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, optical comparators, gauge pins, gauge blocks and other inspection equipment.

  • Must work independently with limited supervision.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and solid models.

  • Have a basis understanding of machining processes to support communications of findings to the production floor.

  • Perform inspections using precision measurement equipment & devices.

  • Experience in applying GD&T as required to complete inspection activities.

  • Ability to run product on CMMs and interpret results and determine product conformity.

  • Familiarity with making minor changes to CMM programs with limited supervision.

  • Summarize quality control data and report results to management.

  • Documents nonconforming product IAW company directives.

  • Performs AS9102 FAI's and complete related documentation as required.

  • Use basic statistical techniques for evaluation of measurement data and trending.

  • All other duties as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

  • High School diploma required.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality or related quality field.

  • Drive safety practices within the organization.

  • Must be a United States Citizen.

  • The salary range for this position is $20 - $25. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
