*LOCATION: *Currently located at the Willis Center, Dickinson County

*SALARY & BENEFITS: *Per ESP II Union Agreement Salary Schedule

*LENGTH OF CONTRACT: *School Year, Part-Time (778.25 hours) -- Beginning 2023-2024

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

1. An Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, OR a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and willingness to grow professionally at one's own initiative.

2. A minimum of one-year successful experience in a licensed preschool or child care program.

3. A professional and in-depth knowledge of child growth & development and sensitivity to the needs of young children and their families.

4. Be physically qualified as determined by a physical examination upon hire.

5. Able to physically manage, lift and interact with students of a wide range of physical size and ability as needed.

6. Driving may be necessary for this position which would require a valid driver's license.

OVERVIEW OF DUTIES:

1. Facilitate the intellectual, emotional, psychological and physical development of children.

2. Daily plan and evaluate the learning experiences of children.

3. Coordinate Child Service Plans and Family Partnership Agreements.

4. Coordinate the volunteer efforts of parents and adults within the classroom.

5. Work together with parents and office staff in planning classroom and center activities.

6. Promote good public relations by neat appearance of person and proper attitude.
