Acosta Group Senior Manager, Consumer Insights (CPG) in Jacksonville, Florida

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and direct the consumer insights survey research process, collaborating with cross functional teams to define, plan, execute, analyze, and deliver consumer research results, insights, and solutions.

  • Turn data into insights by building compelling insights reports and presentations that integrate shopper research data , syndicated sales and shopper data , and other secondary trend data that provide in-depth analyses and solutions to address current business issues.

  • Work closely with clients and Acosta stakeholders by setting up regular meetings to collaborate and develop effective working relationships with team members and become a trusted advisor.

  • Support Acosta Group broadly across BI, client development, and sales team as a subjectmatter expert for shopper insights and survey research.

  • Training and development as needed, to learn new tools, systems, and processes in support of job duties and all Acosta-mandated training courses.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Related work experience can be substituted forthe educational requirement

Work Experience Requirements :

  • 5 years related work experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

  • Solid working knowledge of the CPG industry (data sources, tools, concepts, etc.).

  • Proficient in industry tools utilized in the completion of the work assigned.

  • Demonstrate an advanced degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications including Excel , PowerPoint, advanced macros, and Power BI as needed.

  • Advanced skill in plan preparation , and delivering effective solutions .

  • Extrapolate opportunities to drive results based on analysis of a business challenge or opportunity.

  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and written, while understanding and adapting to the audience.

  • Independently manages and, at times, leads project plans and assumes responsibilityfor tracking, communication, and timing.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, gaining trust and respect, leading to optimal execution of results .

  • Experience in and a solid understanding of primary market research and an ability to incorporate insights into analysis.

  • Prefer experience using advanced research techniques like conjoint, MaxDiff/Turf, and Pricing techniques.

  • Familiarity with statistical techniques and models commonly used in survey research.

  • Understands market research methodologies ( qualitative and quantitative ), survey design, data analysis, and can turn data into insights via report writing and visualization (with a story).
