What you'll do: * Serve as a Human Resource Strategic Business Partner for our Hillsboro facility by providing counsel, advice and recommendations, related to Human Resources matters, to leaders at all levels of the organization. * Assist in developing strategies that ensure the availability, quality and capability of Human Resources to achieve business plan objectives. * Assist in developing plans for attracting and retaining key talent and ensuring engagement of the workforce. * Lead recruiting, candidate selection, employee and team development, change management, and compensation planning for client group. * Coach, advise and consult with management and employees regarding career development, job performance, disciplinary action, general employee relations, etc. * Provide advice, counsel and support for benefits, training, compliance programs and HR Information Systems to client group. * Administers policies and procedures for employment, placement, termination and employee transfers. Ensures the consistent and equitable application of organization policies and procedures. * Takes appropriate actions to address and resolve employee relations issues. * Guides client leaders through a process of developing answers, solutions, and/or strategies to deal fairly, legally and effectively with people-related matters. Forms a business partnership with senior leadership in the daily operation of the business. * Provide guidance and ensure compliance with applicable legislation. Relocation Assistance may be available for this role. What skills you will require: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficiency with, or the ability and willingness to learn, the organization's HRIS and talent management systems. Preferred characteristics: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, Master's Degree preferred.
