Role description:

The Pursuit Manager - Federal will support the profitable growth of sales of the Places (G)BA Government and Civic Practice Group and drive distinct client experiences through leading and winning the most inspiring and strategic pursuits.

This role can be based on any offices in North America, where Arcadis has a registered legal entity.

Reports to A&U Pursuits Director.

Role accountabilities:

Pursuit Leadership Lead complex strategic pursuits through The Arcadis Way Pursuit to Win activities to completion including, develop winning proposals, short list interviews, and pursuing close-out activities Active engagement of In Country BA Pursuit Committee at required touchpoints Identify pursuit team, including working with the Bid Manager to identify Commercial Enablement resources ensuring we have the best team Develop appropriate commercial strategies for the pursuit Identify sustainability and digital initiatives to drive the pursuit of success Lead pursuit teams in key pursuit discussions (M.O.R.E., Win Room, etc.) to develop a winning strategy Author technical elements of proposals, developing content that is tailored to the client's requirements and aligned to identified win strategy (e.g., key messages / win themes) Development and effective management of pursuit budget Accountable for ensuring OSC is updated and the CollaborationHub SP site is active for the pursuit Ensure CX across all pursuit stages Capture lessons learned that feed into other pursuits across (G)BA Identify continuous improvement of pursuit processes, systems, and tools to contribute to improved efficiencies to improve CX and ideal project delivery models

Drive Sales Excellence Collaborate with the Account Leader on necessary client interactions Conduct post-selection debrief with client and pursuit team to drive lessons learned/ best practice sharing Drive seamless delivery, high GEC usage, stretch our digital and sustainability propositions Recognize commercial strategies (margin, profitability, etc.) and ability to coordinate with finance and legal

People Actively participate in CoP, offering best practices and lessons learned Lead a diverse internal pursuit team, setting objectives, managing performance, and ensuring that staff have the necessary skills to deliver pursuit and organizational objectives

Key shared Accountabilities: Work with BA Pursuits Director to lead the development and continuous improvement of pursuit processes, systems,, and policies to contribute to organizational initiatives to improve performance Work together with sector leaders, account leaders solution leaders,, and core pursuit team members/ partners to maximize the value we bring to our strategic pursuits/ our clients Partner with the Bid Manager to maximize the value Commercial Enablement can bring to pursuits

Qualifications & Experience: Proven track record of project managing pursuits through Pursuit to Win activities, developing differentiated offerings consistent with win strategy and developing outcome-focused value propositions tailored for each pursuit to improve CX. Lead large, complex Brooks Act (SF330) US Federal pursuits Proven track record in crafting project delivery models that are future proof, healthy for a global and local perspective Indirect influence and coordination between internal stakeholders with a willingness to challenge team member Completion of Pursuit Leader training including focus on writing compelling client-focused proposals, etc. >60% commitment focused on dedicated pursuit
