Job Title:             Nutrition Maintenance Assistant

Organization:               Athlos Academy of Utah

Location:                     12309 Mustang Trail Way, Herriman, UT 84096 

Reports To:                  Nutrition Manager  

Hiring Status:               At-Will 

FLSA Status:               Exempt 

FTE:                             0.3125, 12.5 hours / week 

Schedule:                    Monday – Friday 10:30 am-1:00 pm 

Reporting Days:          190, 10 months 

Compensation:            Hourly 

Evaluation Rubric:       N/A  

Starting Pay:                $13-$16 / hr., DOE; 

Minimum Qualifications Required: 

    Education:       High School  

    Experience:     Education experience preferred 

    Background:   Clear FBI background check  

    Language:       Strong verbal and writing skills in English, Spanish fluency preferred

    Job Duties 

Daily Tasks 

  • Supervise the orderly gathering and flow of students through the cafeteria during lunch service. 

  • Ensure behavior management of students during lunch service. 

  • Ensure student safety and well-being. 

  • Sanitize, sweep, wipe tables, mop and remove garbage between lunch groups and at the conclusion of lunch. 

  • Communicates proper lunchroom rules to students. 

  • Assists students in exhibiting the Athlos Performance Character traits and upholding the mission and vision of Athlos at all times.

Must be able to spend much of the day standing or mobile throughout the school and playground.

  • Must be able to have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on computer and/or related office equipment.  

  • Ability to handle potentially high stress conditions.
