City Wide Facility Solutions Janitorial Independent Contractor - Commercial Floor Care Specialist in Hauppauge, New York

We are currently looking for Janitorial Independent Contractors to partner with to help fulfill the needs of our clients. City Wide can help your business grow, focus on the work, not on selling and collecting on the accounts, and most importantly, increase your income.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in maintaining and enhancing the appearance and durability of various types of commercial flooring. This role requires a dedicated professional who can provide high-quality floor care services to our clients, ensuring their floors are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. Desired experience includes:

  • Execute specialized floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing.

  • Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment for different types of flooring (e.g., tile, carpet, hardwood, vinyl, concrete).

  • Assess the condition of floors and recommend appropriate restoration techniques.

  • Repair and refinish damaged floors to restore their original appearance and functionality.

  • Apply sealants, finishes, and protectants to extend the life of commercial floors.

  • Comply with industry standards and regulations related to floor care and maintenance.

  • Maintain and properly store all cleaning equipment and supplies.

Requirements

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Valid Business License, LLC or Inc

  • Worker's Compensation Insurance

  • General Liability Insurance and Non Owned Auto

  • Federal EIN #

  • Verifiable references

  • 18 years of age minimum

  • Favorable background investigation results

  • You can not be a sole proprietor
