Clinical Education Specialist (RN)

Spring Creek Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Leadership team.     In this challenging and rewarding position, the primary purpose of the Clinical Education Specialist (RN) is to design, develop, plan, implement, and evaluate orientation and continuing education for all clinical levels of staff related to skilled nursing, and short-term rehabilitation.

    Responsibilities of the Clinical Education Specialist (RN) :

  • Act as a learning facilitator, change agent, leader, partner for transition, and a hands-on mentor/advocate.

  • Engage in direct patient care, aligning with the clinical nurse role.

  • Develop and implement a nurse onboarding program.

  • Manage and maintain competencies for nursing and clinical staff.

  • Develop and submit incident reports, plans of correction, survey deficiencies, and audits

  • Oversee data management for QAPI activities including analysis and assessment of data

  • Collaborate with nursing administration to stay current on regulatory requirements and best practices.

  • Foster learning, drive positive change, and promote professional competence and growth among clinical staff.

    Requirements of the Clinical Education Specialist (RN) :

  • Must possess, as a minimum, an Associates Degree, or BS preferred and completed nursing school

  • Must have Registered Nurse (RN) license

  • Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years experience in a skilled nursing care/LTC facility

  • Must have experience in supervising, managerial and principles, practice of teaching, etc.

  • Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
