Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Greenville, South Carolina

Description We are in the process of recruiting a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in the Professional Services industry. This role is based in GREENVILLE, South Carolina and offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be the main point of contact for internal users requiring technical assistance and support. Your role will be vital in ensuring smooth operation of desktop systems, software, and hardware.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the first and second-level technical support for internal users, providing support via phone, email, and in-person.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop hardware, software, and peripheral devices.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.

• Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues promptly.

• Document all support activities, solutions, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.

• Perform regular system maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, and security configurations.

• Manage IT asset inventory and assist with the procurement of new equipment.

• Conduct user training sessions and create user guides to promote efficient use of desktop systems and applications.

• Use Active Directory, Mobile Device Management, Intune, Apple iOS, Azure Active Directory, and other tools to perform tasks effectively. Requirements • Proven experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role within the Professional Services industry

• Proficiency in Active Directory and Azure Active Directory

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management and Intune

• Expertise in supporting and troubleshooting Apple iOS devices

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical users

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Relevant certifications or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field would be advantageous

• Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed to perform maintenance or address urgent issues
