Job Summary The role of an Account Manager at UFP Edge, specifically handling accounts with major retailers like Lowe's, involves a range of responsibilities aimed at maintaining and growing business relationships and ensuring the success of the products offered. Here are the key responsibilities associated with this role:

  • Merchant Relationship Management: Manage and nurture the relationship with the Merchant and Assistant Merchant of Home Depot and Lowe's. This includes regular communication, understanding their needs, and addressing any concerns or requests they may have. Building a strong rapport with these key individuals is crucial for the success of the partnership.

  • E-Commerce Optimization: Collaborate with the brand advocate to optimize the E-Commerce offerings for the products. This may involve ensuring that product listings are accurate, well-presented, and effectively marketed online. Working closely with the brand advocate can help align online strategies with the retailer's goals.

  • Category Management Coordination: Work with category management teams to ensure the achievement of key performance metrics. This may involve analyzing sales data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance the performance of UFP Edge products within the category.

  • Big Box Store Participation: Participate in and support the requirements of Big Box stores such as Home Depot and Lowe's. This may include attending meetings, addressing store-specific needs, and coordinating initiatives to drive product sales within these stores.

  • New Product Introduction: Take responsibility for the successful introduction of new products to the market. This includes placing these products within the retailer's inventory, tracking their performance, and making adjustments as necessary to ensure their success. Qualifications

Preferred bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related area

Minimum of one year of customer services experience

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications

Preferred manufacturing background, but not required

Preferred experience and knowledge on UFP's organization, culture, and product lines
