Job Summary

The Insurance Compliance Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day running of the company's Property & Casualty compliance programs for its vendors and customers. Works under the general direction of the Manager of Insurance Procurement; exercises discretion and judgment on work priority on a regular basis; and a wide degree of creativity is expected.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities Supervise, implement and manage various insurance compliance requirements for the company's vendors and customers Execution of requests for certificates of insurance and endorsements for customers Track and review risk transfer mechanisms of the company's customers and vendors Draft insurance requirements based on risk profile of operations Review customer contracts and lease agreements Maintain Statement of Values, COPE information for company's property exposure Assist Senior Manager of Insurance in renewal process, including exposure reporting, providing underwriting information to carriers, preparing loss runs Assist with miscellaneous claims Assist in processing of certificates of insurance and auto ID cards for the field Assist plants with various questions regarding - permits, licensing, filings, contracts, as well as answering various insurance related questions Commitment to continuing education in the insurance field Assist the Senior Manager of Insurance in various departmental related tasks Prepares various reports as required Performs other duties as required

Qualifications Minimum Bachelor's degree in business, management or other related field of study preferred Experience in Property & Casualty insurance industry is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel & Word
