General Summary The Deckorators Product Champion is a Sales Trainee specifically responsible for Deckorators products. They are responsible for learning Company products, policies and procedures, and performs basic sales and customer service activities. They will also coordinate with plant operations and purchasing to maintain ideal inventory levels.

Works under close direction of the Sales Manager; little discretion and judgment on work priority; and a small degree of creativity is expected.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Develops a comprehensive knowledge of Company products and procedures through on-the-job training activities.

Assists in sales, customer service, and production activities as assigned.

Assists with plant operations to maintain ideal inventory levels for Deckorators product line.

Attends and successfully completes boot camp of comprehensive studies.

Prepares various reports as required.

Performs other duties as required.

Job Specifications

Knowledge

Bachelor degree in business or marketing, or equivalent work experience

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications

Skills and abilities

Proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing and speaking

Ability to successfully interact with all organizational levels and the public

Demonstrated proficiency to manage multiple tasks, to set priorities, and to meet deadlines.

Demonstrate proficiency in general telephone and office etiquette and legible handwriting

Demonstrated ability to be mobile in the work environment and to travel as required

Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships

Ability to apply business math to manufacturing processes.

Conduct

Good interpersonal skills and good communicator

Compensation & Benefit Information: Pay Range: $55,800-$61,800. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by experience and other job-related factors such as geographic location, experience and cost of living considerations.

Bonus/Incentive Pay: Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses. A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
