You will plan, recommend, integrate, and execute comprehensive, essential cyber processes, guidelines, and standards. You will utilize The Joint, Navy and Marine Corps, and Cyberspace Planning Processes on a daily basis to help the unit address a wide range of planning evolutions. You will engage directly with tactical units involve in preoperational and operational planning, training and tool integration. You will provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members and conduct other assigned duties. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience at the next lower grade would be demonstrated by: (1) Plan, recommend, integrate, and execute comprehensive, essential cyber processes, guidelines, and standards. (2) Engage directly with tactical units involved in preoperational and operational planning, training and tool integration. (3) Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members and conducts other assigned duties. This position is within the Work Category-Professional at Work Level-Senior, Series 2210 and Grade GG-13. Some groups in this category, however, may have a positive education requirement that cannot be replaced with experience, such as a requirement for a particular type or level of an academic degree. Additional Information JOB SUMMARY: This position serves as an Offensive Cyberspace Operations Planner. The incumbent will serve as a subject matter expert on cyberspace operations to bridge the operational-to-tactical gaps and provide relevant support for offensive cyberspace operations. Also must be able to visualize cyberspace operations across all battlespace/warfighting/joint warfighting functions and must be able to imbue that visualization into planning, operations, and exercises in order to assist the Fleet Marine Force fully and holistically incorporate cyberspace operations into USCYBERCOM/MARFORCYBER and Geographic Combatant Commanders' priorities/guidance, operations, plans, and exercises. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
