We are looking for an experienced CAD Designer to join our team.

As a CAD Designer, you will:

• Design, specify and assist the Engineering team to complete integrated instrumentation & control system drawings and corresponding bill of materials
• Detail the instrument and control systems include analyzers, sample conditioning systems, general instrumentation layouts, shelter layouts, electrical power distribution and control systems
• Develop the drawing packages utilizing AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical
• Communicate closely with Engineering, Procurement and Production to develop packages that meet or exceed customer expectations while meeting customer schedules
• Bring knowledge from past experience on design methods and solutions for solving the customer application requirements
• Periodically work directly with customers on designs and changes with potential travel to customer sites as required
• Provide support in the creation of technical documentation, system manuals and customer requested documentation
• Participate in ongoing training & development activity

What You Will Need:

• Bachelors degree, Associates degree or strong relevant experience in a technical field with at least three (3) years of experience
• High-level proficiency in AutoCAD required -- AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor and Vault a plus
• Require strong electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical component knowledge
• Solid electrical background with an understanding of controls (PLCs, HMI, automation) and electrical power distribution (including hazardous areas) is preferred
• Experience with sample system Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and instrument fittings, valves, and electrical components is a plus
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills and ability to interact on a technical level
• Ability to work with peers in a fast-paced environment
• Proven top performer in past jobs

• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Comfortable interacting with customers when required
• Ability to travel up to 15%
