JOB REQUIREMENTS: POSITION SUMMARY: The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring and supervising the overall cleanliness of Wood Violet Recovery\'s facilities. The cleaning personnel are a vital part in ensuring a clean, orderly, and attractive experience. This is especially important within the client rooms and common areas at Wood Violet Recovery. Assignment of duties will be given daily, work will be inspected for quality and accuracy. Housekeepingservice equipment will be provided to ensure the highest quality of cleanliness. The Housekeeper works closely with and under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -To maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable environment for Wood Violet Recovery employees and clients. -Clean and sanitize metal fixtures and fittings. Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner. -Clean and sanitize wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers. -Clean and sanitize glass surfaces. -Make up beds and change linens as required and sanitize mattresses with sanitizing spray. -Refresh and deep clean and sanitize client rooms. -Wash windows as scheduled on the housekeeping calendar. -Sort, wash, load and unload laundry as scheduled or requested. -Sanitize all furnishings as scheduled on the housekeeping calendar. -Operate mechanized cleaning equipment. -Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition. -Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements. -Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to Wood Violet Recovery\'s standards. -Inspect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies. -Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances. -Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience. -With each room or area complete, inspect the area to ensure all items are in place and organized. -Check stocking levels of all consumables and turn in order requests or replace requests to the Housekeeping Supervisor. -Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices. -Follows HIPAA Regulations. -Attend and participate in staff meetings and trainings. -Other duties, as assigned. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERENCES: The following requirements and preferences will be evaluated and verified to establish employment eligibility: -1-3 years\' experience as a cleaner or housekeeper. -Customer-oriented and friendly. -High school degree or equivalent -Valid Driver\'s License ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: joannar@woodvioletrecovery.com Apply Online: www.sunshinebehavioralhealth.com/careers/
