Position Title: Coordinator, Parent Technology Training Temporary Term: Position scheduled to last through June 2022 Status: Non-exempt/hourly Salary: $23.00/hr Benefits: Not eligible Location: Hybrid remote, with at least 1 day/week at Mile High United Way's Denver office at 711 Park Ave W., Denver, 80205 Schedule: Approx. 16 hours/week split between 2 days, some flexibility to adjust schedule

United for Schools (UFS) is one of Mile High United Way's signature programs that works to improve academic achievement by increasing student attendance in partner elementary schools. One of UFS' primary program objectives is to strengthen parent-school relationships and foster parent leaders. As part of that effort, UFS offers a Parent Technology Training program that provides basic digital literacy training to parents in UFS schools, to help parents increase their comfort using a computer, to communicate with their student's school and teachers, and to expand their ability to access the internet to better participate in today's economy and soc

This Coordinator will be responsible for the administration, logistics, and project coordination of the Parent Technology Training program. This will involve project tracking, contract management, instructor outreach, and facilitating meetings.

Essential Responsibilities

Manage contracting for instructors or other related contracts. Serve as the primary point of contact for instructors to ensure timely and accurate contracts and invoices; develop payment requests. Act as communication point for Mile High United Way stakeholders (instructor contractors, instructor trainer, UFS Community Advocates, UFS Senior Director). Schedule regular check-ins with instructors or other relevant stakeholders. Communicate with instructors if problems arise with participant attendance or technology/ Develop and maintain program tracking of parent participants, instructors and Community Advocates. Ensure accurate tracking that is transparent and accessible for instructors and Community Advocates. Provides general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes, compiling and organizing documents, and supporting team projects. Demonstrates strong customer service and displays a high level of professionalism and team orientation. What You'll Need: Education, Experience, and Skills

High School Diploma/GED required. 2 years' experience in either administrative, programmatic, or volunteer coordinating roles. Great organizational skills and an ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Adept at managing ambiguity; willing to be flexible and learn with the advancement of the program Strong relationship building skills Good oral communication and writing skills, including presentations, public speaking, written reports, and other documents. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams Salesforce experience a plus Working Environment: Typical office environment. During COVID-19, part-time staff are asked to work in office at least 1/day week.

Physical Activities: Operates a computer and phone for extended periods of time.
