Oswegatchie Educational Center Food Service Director in Croghan, New York

The position is a seasonal role managing our food service team. Food service is happening from dinner service on Sundays to Breakfast service on Fridays. The Food Service director manages the hours and times that their staff is reporting for service.

Food Service Director at Oswegatchie Educational Center is the key position responsible for overseeing and managing the food preparation tasks in our banquet style food setting. This role involves leadership, coordination, and collaboration with the entire camp kitchen team to ensure the successful delivery of quality and appealing meals for campers and staff being prepared in a clean and sanitary manner.

Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent Being 25 years of age or older At least 3 years Food Service experience or completed Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Safe Serv Food Manager Certification or ability to obtain. Qualifications Previous role supervising and managing people in a stressful team dynamic Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Excellent organizational skills. Flexibility to adapt and change circumstances and schedule. Previous role in Management
