The Division of Continuing and International Education (DCIE) seeks motivated Enrollment Advisor to recruit, guide, educate, enroll, and support prospective learners in achieving their educational goals by acquiring today’s workforce skill sets in a variety of in-demand professional certificate program options.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Engage with prospective students through personalized meetings, phone calls, and emails, to understand their goals and recommend the most relevant in-demand workforce DCIE program aligned with their interests and professional goals.

  • Utilize communication and relationship-building skills to convert leads into enrolled students and provide exceptional customer service throughout the enrollment process.

  • Stay informed on DCIE's credit and non-credit programs, confidently advising students on program options, deadlines, and requirements.

  • Meet and exceed established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to lead conversion, application completion, and enrollment goals.

  • Collaborate effectively with DCIE's marketing, programing, and finance teams to ensure a smooth student experience and identify market opportunities.

  • Ensure all interactions comply with university policies regarding security and student information confidentiality (FERPA).

  • Direct and implement advising strategies, assist other advisors, and foster a collaborative team environment.

  • Collect, analyze, and report on enrollment and recruitment data to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Contribute to the development of comprehensive recruiting and enrollment strategies and assist in addressing student recruitment challenges.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer service, account management, or relationship building in Higher Education (Admission, Academic Advising, Financial Aid, or Registrar) preferred.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills (written and verbal)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a demonstrated ability to utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (Salesforce preferred)

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Goal-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Passion for higher education and a commitment to student success
