Jewish Federation of Southern NJ Home Care Supervisor in Cherry Hill, New Jersey

Aleph Home Care, a department of the Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey, is looking for a full-time Scheduling Supervisor. This position is M-F 9am-5pm with remote on-call responsibilities every other week (after hours and weekends).

We are looking for someone who can work full-time in our Cherry Hill, NJ office. You will oversee the scheduling office, including overseeing the calendar and supervising our Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) that are out on the field taking care of our clients. Must be a team player, willing to be on call every other week, excellent computer skills, and be able to multi-task.

Scheduler qualifications: professional, problem-solver, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, excellent customer service skills, detail-oriented, and extremely organized.

Specific Responsibilities:

· Manages and help to create the policies that the aides and companions must follow.

· Oversee and manage caregivers, which includes schedules, discipline, and performance management.

· Oversee the written disciplinary documents in regard to the CHHAs behavior in the field (non-clinical). Overseeing time off requests, and educating the aides on the time sheets process

· Assist in managing daily office activities which include requesting credentials

· Interview, hire and evaluate home health aide personnel in accordance to company policy.

· Match, assign and schedule caregivers based on skill level, availability and client requirements and their assessment.

· Communicating with clients, families on an ongoing basis

· Responsible for the large daily volume of incoming phone calls/emails that oversee the aide’s schedules.

· Provides aide coaching sessions when needed

· Document all staff absences per agency protocol and communicate unusual trends and patterns to Operations Coordinator

· Participate in On-Call rotation

· Follows Aleph and Jewish Federation policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Graduate, BA degree a plus

• 3-5 years’ experience in similar role

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Management and supervisory experience

• Attention to detail

• Proficient skills with computers, software and office equipment required
