Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists staff with technical support of computers, applications, switches, cabling, and related technologies within established standards and guidelines.

  • Assists in the maintenance and testing of desktop/laptop computers and associated hardware and software.

  • Provide daily on-site, remote desktop, and phone support to offices located throughout the United States with periodic travel primarily based on the East Coast.

  • Responsibilities include the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, and associated software including Windows 10/11 and Microsoft M365.

  • Assess user needs, generate hardware/software recommendations and prepare documentation.

  • Work with vendors to resolve technical problems with desktop hardware and software.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required with advanced computer training; a bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred.

  • A minimum of one to two years of experience in desktop support (internship experience acceptable).

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows Active Directory is preferred.

  • A strong work ethic and the desire to perform professionally at an elevated level.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • This position requires independent analysis, problem solving, timeliness, and a solid troubleshooting background. The ability to work independently and within a team environment is critical to this position's success.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check.

  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status is required. No visa sponsorship will be provided.
