[**Duties: Bastian Solutions LLC seeks a Consulting Engineer based out of headquarters in Carmel, Indiana to conduct industrial engineering analysis. Execute automation, operations, and process engineering consulting engagements for new and existing clients. Analyze raw operational data sets to design and develop material handling solutions within a manufacturing and supply chain setting. Perform data analysis using SQL, Power BI, Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx. Develop computer simulation models using Flex Sim, Arena, and Auto MOD. Developing computer simulation models for manufacturing and material handling systems and interpret simulation results, incorporating conveyors, automatic guided vehicles, and automated storage and retrieval systems. Utilize computer simulation modeling to assess and propose optimal material handling solutions, considering factors such as throughput, layout, and resource utilization. Interpret simulation results to make data-driven recommendations. Conduct materials, processes, and information flow analysis, including MOST (Maynard operation sequence technique) analysis. Develop and communicate concepts and recommendations to optimize automated material handling operations. Prepare comprehensive documentation and give presentations of engineering findings to support decision-making processes. Develop system proposals. Position may work from home 5 days per week. May travel to various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States up to 30% of time. Annual Salary: $105,373 to $120,000.
