Full Time, Salary :Competitive

Position Start:  June 9, 2024 (Pending Contract Award)

Period of Performance:  June 2024 through May 2029

Position Summary:  MILVETS Systems Technology, Inc. is currently seeking a full time Telecommunications Mechanic ISP and OSP (SECRET CLEARANCE).  The Telecommunications Mechanic ISP and OSP will be supporting the government at Carlisle Barracks, PA.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair radio, internet, and other telecommunications infrastructure.

• Responsible for terminating cables of various types, installing equipment, and updating as built drawings, cable run sheets, and site plans.

• Assist with cable audits and other related duties for the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) classified and unclassified communication systems.

• 100% on site position.

• Two positions available, one for outside plant and one for inside plant.

  Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience

  Qualifications:  Associate degree in electronics or other comparable degree plan, or 2 years of experience in lieu of a degree

  Certifications: BICIS certification desired, Required - IAT Level II certification (like Security+)

  Clearance:    Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an Active United States Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
