**Customer Service / Escrow Officer

Summary:

Entry level position for a motivated customer service / escrow officer to join our well-established title agency and is willing and able to travel between the ACS Bucyrus and ACS Marion offices.  Advancement opportunity to full Escrow Officer position.  Applicants should demonstrate a strong attention to detail and commitment to customer service.  Must have basic computer skills specifically with Microsoft Office products.  We are willing to train the right person.

Escrow Officer responsibilities:

• Interact and coordinate with industry contact such as realtors, loan officers, underwriters, brokers, buyers, and sellers.
• Review title commitment, lender instructions, purchase, and sale agreements to be sure the duties and responsibilities are clear to facilitate closing.
• Assemble and deliver closing statements to buyers, sellers, brokers, agents, and lenders.
• Disburse escrow funds accurately and completely.
• Administrative tasks such as Order Entry, answering phone calls, courier, replying to emails, filing and other duties as assigned.

This job is:

• A good fit for applicates with gaps in their resume, or who have been out of the workforce for the past 6 months or more and/or are returning to the workforce with limited experience.
• Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma, but a high school diploma is required.

• Must be punctual, reliable, and able to meet deadlines.

Experience/Certification Required:

• High School Diploma/GED required; higher education preferred.
• Salary will be commensurate with experience.
• Notary or willing to obtain notary within the first year
