Job Overview

The Audiologist I provide diagnostic audiological evaluations, interventions and family/caregiver consultation and education in all settings in which audiology services are offered including but not limited to inpatient, outpatient, outreach, and telehealth programs.

Qualifications

EDUCATION - Master's degree in Audiology. EXPERIENCE - One year experience providing pediatric audiology services in pediatric setting focusing on family centered care, required. CERTIFICATION(S) - Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate; Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Certi LICENSURE - Current registration and licensure in Audiology by the State of Colorado.

Clinician completes case management activities consistent with department quality assurance and quality improvement standards. Clinician collaborates with the family, physicians, schools and other educational institutions, and other providers to ensure the continuum of care for the child and optimal clinical services. Clinician completes diagnostic evaluations consistent with contemporary, evidence-based practice in audiology an department quality assurance standards. Clinician incorporates principles of cultural-competence and family-centered care into clinical services.
