Description

This role primarily involves ensuring that portal billing account customers receive accurate billed invoices in a timely manner. This position requires excellent customer service and attention to detail and the ability to accurately communicate billing issues are critical in obtaining account resolution and to minimize payment delays.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Analyze and assess the creditworthiness of account/client using external credit risk management tools/reports

• Support the collection efforts/calls for accounts receivable portfolio

• Document daily collections activity

• Research account disputes and billing discrepancies

• Perform account/payment reconciliations

• Respond to credit inquiries from external and internal clients

• Identify delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts

• Identify bad debt or financial exposure

Requirements

• Proficient Microsoft Excel and Word

• Strong sense of urgency and customer focus

• ‘Interpersonal/People Skills’, for working with colleagues and customers.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and think logically & constructively

• Organizational and time management skills

• One year credit and collection experience preferred.

• Prior portal billing experience.
