We are seeking a Legal Assistant in Baltimore, Maryland, who will primarily assist with personal injury matters. This role involves superior organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist personal injury lawyers in case preparation and management

• Balance checks and maintain accurate financial records

• Request and follow up on medical records to support personal injury cases

• Handle cloud-based scanning and e-filing tasks

• Understand and interpret medical records/bills for case support

• Demonstrate reliability, dependability, and attention to detail in all tasks

• Work independently and take initiative when necessary

• Contribute to team efforts and maintain a positive work environment

• Familiarize oneself with the discovery process in legal proceedings

• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and maintain work-life balance.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

• Proficiency in handling and managing medical records

• Demonstrated experience in Personal Injury Law

• Proven expertise in Personal Injury Litigation

• Familiarity with legal documentation and terminology

• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in using legal management software and tools

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards and professional integrity.
