Concession Worker

PeopleReady of  Allentown, PA is now hiring Concession Workers! As a Concession Worker, you will prepare food orders, operate cash registers, process payments, and maintain the sanitary standards in the concession area. We are looking for high energy enthusiastic sports fans at local race track, to serve and deliver much needed refreshments to customers.

Pay Rate: 

The pay rate for this job is $12 - $13 / hour 

What you'll be doing as a Concession Worker: 

• Take customer orders and assemble them correctly. 

• Check identification for age-restricted items, such as alcoholic beverages. 

• Accept payment from customers via a cash register. 

• Check food items to ensure quality and safety standards are met. 

• Keep the assigned area clean, sanitary, and safe. 

• Answer questions about concession stand location, prices of goods sold there, and other questions about tickets or other items sold. 

• Under the guidance of a supervisor, maintain concession stand records with information on products used and food served to customers. 

• Complete inventory sheets daily, noting supplies that need to be replenished. 

• Enter data into a computerized cash register system. They may also be responsible for balancing register tills at the end of day.

Job requirements: 

• Experience working as a line cook or cashier in a fast paced kitchen preferred 

• Able to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment 

• Able to remain in stationary position for extended periods of time 

• Take pride in your strong work ethic, positive mindset, and desire to improve 

• Background check required
