Role Objective The Consumer Sales Director is an SME (Subject Matter Expert) of their assigned customers, specifically large mass retailers and the dollar channel. This role is responsible for meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales and financial goals for a designated territory. Manages and monitors assigned market sales activity and strategies to maximize sales growth and profitability, efficiencies, and effectiveness. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Plans line reviews, sales strategy, business meetings and presents to customers virtually and in person Sells full product portfolio and communicates product adjacency opportunities to all assigned retail partners Develops and maintains industry thought leader relationships within assigned accounts Reports competitive activity regularly Manages channel conflict within the territory Meets regularly with rep agencies; is aware of their priorities and provides appropriate leadership and guidance Communicates and collaborates with Consumer Sales Directors and Retail/B2B/ Ecommerce counterparts effectively Seeks out innovation opportunities to improve GOJO Product Management approach and collaborates frequently with Marketing and Total Solutions Expands the GOJO footprint within assigned accounts by selling to all appropriate departments, including Soap Aisle, Travel & Trial, Check Lanes, etc. Manages sales territory according to GOJO guidelines Ensures that PURELL is positioned for success during peak periods(Back to School, Cold/Flu) by securing and aligning appropriate assets to meet objectives Uses customer portals effectively and in accordance with guidelines set forth by retail partners and GOJO Leverages Circana data effectively Analyzes data and information in conjunction with Category management Director to curate compelling data stories that demonstrate category incrementality of PURELL recommendations Reviews new business opportunities with Finance and Leadership to project sales and determine profitability prior to presenting to customers Provides ongoing strategic insights to senior leadership regarding market conditions, needs and opportunities in order to continually shape GOJO value propositions Education and Experience BA/BS in marketing, business or related field preferred Minimum five (5) years' experience in sales and/or sales management through national retailers Large mass retailer sales experience required Proficiency with Retail Link/ Luminate required Supervision/Coordination Coordinates sales activities with GOJO workgroups including Marketing, Category Management and others This role does not directly supervise GOJO team members but does manage the activities of rep agencies Travel Requirements Overnight Travel - 20% or greater - required To Apply: To apply for this position, please complete the online application process.
