As the Program Manager for the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) Cybersecurity Office, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing our team providing comprehensive cybersecurity support. The program aims to ensure the protection and defense of ARL's unclassified, classified, and standalone networks and systems. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of cybersecurity professionals to deliver a range of services, from Assessment and Authorization (A&A) to Incident Response and Training and Certification Validation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • A&A Management: Lead the lifecycle of A&A efforts for ARL enterprise systems, coordinating plans and documentation to meet project deliverables.

  • Project Management: Oversee project management efforts in coordination with team for cybersecurity-led projects, providing plans, timelines, and cost estimates.

  • Above Baseline Project Support: Review and evaluate R&D IT projects, providing recommendations to minimize risk while meeting mission goals.

  • Customer Response: Coordinate team’s response to customer-generated cybersecurity related emails and tickets, ensuring compliance with policies.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of Cybersecurity experience, with five (5) years in program management.

  • Understanding of DoD and Army Cybersecurity policies and regulations.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with IT teams and end-users.

  • Experience in managing A&A lifecycles, vulnerability management, and incident response.

  • Familiarity with Cybersecurity compliance reporting tools and processes.

  • Familiarity with Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Contracts

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred or equivalent work experience.

  • Proven experience in program management.
