As the Classified Cybersecurity Senior at the Army Research Laboratory (ARL) Cybersecurity Office, you will take a lead role in providing cybersecurity support for ARL's classified environment and systems. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining the security and compliance of ARL's classified networks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cybersecurity Support: Provide comprehensive Cybersecurity support tailored to the unique requirements of ARL's classified environment.

  • Incident Response: Respond to and mitigate security incidents within the classified networks, ensuring a rapid and effective resolution.

  • Policy Enforcement: Implement and enforce DoD and Army IT and Cybersecurity policies specifically for ARL's classified systems.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to Cybersecurity measures within the classified environment.

  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and policies governing classified networks.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • In-depth knowledge of Cybersecurity principles, practices, and policies.

  • Familiarity with classified network environments and associated security requirements.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents.

  • Excellent understanding of DoD and Army IT and Cybersecurity policies.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Cybersecurity.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting classified networks.
